Shawn Hollenback and Muffin

For those of you who were at practice on Saturday you got to see one of the most beautiful things in the world, a man and his dog. Shawn's dog Muffin showed up at the fields and it was something else. You got to see how the two of them worked together with no words or gestures. Dave would hit a home run Shawn would look at Muffin and she would retrieve the ball and put the ball in the bag for the pitcher. Make no doubt about it Muffin can come off looking like a prima donna but she was a pit bull going after the balls and the companionship those two shared was second to none just like Timmy and Lassie. For those of you who weren't able to attend because of injury or golf I took a picture of her so you can see a Lean Mean Softball Fetching Machine.

That is a fine post Je.. I mean, left field. Even though Shawn is an outfielder, I have always suspected that he was a poodle person. I am glad he let Muffin come play with us. Hopefully Shawn will bring Muffin more often. Maybe even to the tournament this weekend.

This is so wierd, I could have sworn that I put in information about Mike and his dog and now it is about Shawn and his dog. I guess the forum has a bit of a hacker on it.

After receiving complaints regarding posts mysteriously changing and "hacking", teamgeritolsoftball.com has hired a professional web site security monitor. The security monitor has concluded that there is some funny business going on in this thread. As shown below you can see that someone named "glovedad" modified the original post made by "left field" on 5/16/2007 at 9:39:01 AM. Everyone on this board is busy at work at that time except one person who has a cushy job working for the school system. We won't name names here, but I think we all know who glovedad is.......

GOOD JOB new web monitor. I wanted my name cleared of any wrong doing. Now if we can find out who this glovedad person is this entire ugly incident will be behind us. I look forward to getting a name with this glovedad person although I think I know who it is just from watching your team play and the chatter in the dugout. Their appears to be one troublemaker on the team. I do watch almost all of the games you are in and I must say your team is looking stellar this year especially at catcher, has anybody stolen a base on him all year?
