What a wonderful weekend to be a part of. The softball was good but what we witnessed with the coin flips will be something talked about for years to come. Did you realize that what happend with the coin flips had less then a 1% chance of happening? It had a 1/(2^7) chance of happening! You can read more about it here http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/526284.html. I am still in a bit of shock but let's take a look at what happened:
Game 11: (1 of the tournament): XXL: They called it tails and it came up tails. Team record now 4-7.
Game 12: Not sure the team name: They called it heads and it came up tails. Team record now 5-7.
Game 13: Ananconda: They called tails and it came up tails. Team record now 5-8. 3 tails in a row!!!
Game 14: True Grit: We called tails and it came up tails. Team record now 6-8. 4 tails in a row
Game 15: Blue Sox. This is where it gets even more interesting. The blue decided to flip the coin to determine who would call the flip. We were heads and the Sox were tails. It came up tails. The Blue Sox then called heads and it came up tails. That is 6 tails in a row and our team record for home is 7-8.
Game 16: Blue Sox. We called tails and it came up tails. Team record now 8-8.
Heads -vs- Tails -- Tails now leads with 11 and heads has 6.
I contacted ESPN to see if they could do a story on this once in a lifetime event however I haven't heard from them yet.
